We always start with a complimentary meet & greet to get to know you and your pets. This visit lets us learn about your routine, discuss any special needs, and ensure a great match before we begin regular care.
How does it work?
A quick visit to make sure your dog and Emily are the perfect match.
During your meet & greet, Emily will:
Get to know your dog
Learn your dog’s personality, energy level, likes & dislikes
Ask about any reactivity, triggers, anxiety, or quirks
Meet your dog in a calm, pressure-free way so they feel comfortable
Review routines
Feeding schedule (if needed before/after walks)
Potty habits & typical outing length
Commands your dog knows
Preferred walking style (structured, sniff-heavy, adventure walks, etc.)
Discuss health & safety
Review vet info, allergies, medications
Talk about mobility concerns, age-specific needs, or special care instructions
Go over emergency procedures & your preferred vet clinic
Go over equipment
Check harness fit, leash type, and any preferred gear
Talk about safe walking setups and what you’d like her to use
Note if your dog is an escape artist or puller
Understand home logistics
How to access your home or building
Alarm codes, key placement, gate instructions
Where to leave water, towel-offs, or post-walk updates
Answer questions & build a personalized plan
You’ll go through your expectations, schedule, and goals
She’ll explain her walking style, updates, photos, and communication
You can decide on the best timetable for weekly walks

Usually 10–15 minutes. If your dog needs extra time warming up, Emily can stay a little longer.
